Oil prices rose again on Friday after reports of damage to Saudi oil facilities and a near-total shutdown of shipping in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz. Oil prices edged up on Friday after falling slightly from last week on signs of a fragile two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran and possible talks between Israel and Lebanon.
