Thailand's Prime Minister dissolves parliament, election likely in January

Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has dissolved parliament to prepare for elections amid border tensions with neighboring Cambodia. After just three months in power, he announced the dissolution of parliament on December 12. This paves the way for a general election in the country as early as 2026.
