Sushila Karki takes charge as Nepal's interim Prime Minister
Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of Nepal's interim government. Nepal's President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office to her at the Sheetal Niwas on September 12. This marks the first time a woman has taken office as the Prime Minister and Chief Executive of Nepal. Nepal's media outlet Hub has reported that the matter has been resolved.
