Although the official results have not been announced, Canada's ruling Liberal Party has won its fourth consecutive election. But the party, led by Prime Minister Mark Carney, fell short of a majority. Carney had hoped to form a single-party majority government to facilitate tariff negotiations with US President Donald Trump.
