The reason why 1 million stray dogs are being released in India
The Supreme Court initially ordered that all stray dogs in Delhi be confined to shelters. This angered animal lovers and led to protests. In the face of their love and objections, the court changed its verdict and said that the dogs should be released where they were caught after being sterilized and vaccinated. However, rabid or excessively aggressive dogs will be removed from the streets, and food can only be given at designated places. Although this verdict brought victory to animal lovers, the country's more than 60 million stray dogs and the risk of their attacks and spreading rabies still remains a big problem.
