Pakistan receives IMF loan amid tensions with India

Amid the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has waived off Pakistan's loan. India is very upset about this. India has requested the organization to conduct a comprehensive review of its lending to Pakistan. According to a Reuters report, the IMF has released $1 billion in cash for Pakistan under the current $7 billion loan program.
