Khamenei bids final farewell in his hometown of Mashhad

The late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be buried in his hometown of Mashhad on July 9. The funeral was delayed due to the war, and his body has been held in five cities in Iran and Iraq for the past week, with hundreds of thousands of people taking part. He will ultimately be buried next to the shrine of Imam Reza, the holy Shiite Muslim.
