Islamabad meeting fails, fears of conflict grow
US President Donald Trump is considering a limited military strike against Iran again. After the failure of talks in Pakistan, the US is taking a strategy of increasing pressure on Iran by tightening the naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. To avoid a full-scale war, limited attacks and economic pressure are being prioritized for now. On the other hand, Iran has warned that any attack will be responded to. As a result, the fear of renewed tension and instability in the Middle East is increasing.
