Hamas, Israel promise prisoner exchange within 72 hours

A key prisoner swap between Israel and Hamas is set to begin as part of a Gaza ceasefire deal. A senior Hamas official told AFP that Israel will release 1,950 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 life prisoners and 1,700 others arrested since the start of the war, in exchange for the release of 20 surviving Israeli hostages.
