Workers have been repeatedly used in the name of politics in Bangladesh. After students were shot in July-August, workers came and stood as shields. Leaders of the Bangladesh Democratic Student Union made these remarks at a rally organized on the occasion of Labor Day. The Bangladesh Democratic Student Union organized a student-worker solidarity rally on May 1 to mark International Labor Day.
