Looted stones are returning to 'Sada Pathor', 12,000 cubic feet recovered
About 12,000 cubic feet of stone looted from the 'Sada Pathor' of Companiganj in Sylhet have been recovered. All the stones have been replaced with white stone at the tourist center. Similarly, the joint forces seized more than two hundred trucks filled with stones coming towards Sylhet city. Of these, 70 trucks were returned from the city's entrance, Barashala Bypass. The rescued stones are being returned to the river so that the natural beauty of the tourist center is maintained.
