Former Law Minister Anisul shown arrested in attempted murder case
Former Law Minister Anisul Haque has been arrested in a case of attempted murder of a person named Hadis Mia in the Mirpur Model Police Station area of the capital during the July Movement. In addition, the court has granted a two-day remand application of Saddam Hossain Pavel, former MP of Nilphamari-3 constituency and Jubo League's Central Relief and Social Welfare Affairs Secretary, in a case of attempted murder of Md. Majedul Islam in the New Market Police Station area. The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate MA Mizbah Ur Rahman passed these orders on Monday, September 15, following two applications from the police.
