Fire at Savar's Aminbazar electricity super grid brought under control
Power supply has been cut off in parts of Savar and Ashulia due to a fire at the Aminbazar Power Super Grid in Savar. The fire broke out at around 7 am on March 11. The fire was brought under control at 9:30 am with the efforts of 9 units of the fire service. This power grid substation is located in the Chanpur area adjacent to Salehpur Bridge on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Savar. It is initially known that the substation has a capacity of 400/230 kV. However, the extent of damage or the cause of the fire is not yet known.
