Last year, due to extreme temperatures, most of the mango and lychee fruits dropped prematurely, causing significant losses for orchard owners and traders. This year, they are hoping to recover those losses and make a profit. Although the lychee yield is somewhat lower, they are optimistic as the orchards are full of mangoes.
