Economic slowdown: Bangladesh Bank still records record profit

Despite the economic slowdown, Bangladesh Bank has made a record profit in the fiscal year 2024-25. According to the central bank's calculations, the profit in the last fiscal year stood at Tk 33,000 crore. Of this, the net or actual profit was Tk 22,600 crore.
