How Netanyahu attacked the recognition of Palestine
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly on the fourth day of the two-year-old Gaza offensive and the ICC arrest warrant. As soon as he began his speech, delegates from many countries walked out in protest, leaving the chamber half-empty. Netanyahu lashed out at Western recognition of Palestine, calling it a "mark of shame" that sends the wrong message to the world—that "killing Jews is a reward."
