Dramatic turn in power struggle in Israel, alliance against Netanyahu

A new alliance is emerging in Israeli politics. The country's two former prime ministers, Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid, are set to announce their joint bid for the upcoming national elections. Bennett's office announced the joint effort in a statement on April 26, Qatar-based media outlet Al Jazeera reported.
