Pocket-sized OnePlus 13T comes with the company’s largest battery ever

OnePlus has fitted a 6,260mAh battery into the compact 13T — a number higher than the OnePlus 13, iPhone 16 Pro Max, or the Galaxy S25 Ultra

In an age where smartphones are growing ever larger, the OnePlus 13T stands out by going small, at least relatively. With a 6.32-inch OLED display, the new handset is just slightly bigger than the Apple iPhone 16 or Samsung Galaxy S25.

Yet it delivers something unexpected: a battery that is not only larger than both those rivals, but also bigger than the batteries found in many so-called Ultra models.

OnePlus has managed to pack a massive 6,260mAh battery into a body that remains compact by modern flagship standards. This is more power than in the brand's own OnePlus 13, and significantly more than the Galaxy S25 Ultra's 5,000mAh cell. The secret lies in an upgraded silicon-carbon battery design. This advanced tech allows for greater capacity without increasing physical size, giving users longer usage times without added bulk.

In terms of weight and size, the 13T is marginally larger and heavier than its direct Apple and Samsung counterparts, but still lighter than the standard OnePlus 13.

The phone also marks a notable change in OnePlus' design. The beloved alert slider is gone, replaced by a new multifunctional shortcut key. This button can be customised to launch apps, snap screenshots, adjust notifications, or even activate AI features.

Under the hood, the 13T runs on the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as the OnePlus 13, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It features two 50-megapixel rear cameras and 80w fast charging. Wireless charging, however, is absent.

Set to launch in China next week at CNY3,399 (approximately $466), the 13T is both powerful and affordable. Global availability remains unconfirmed.
