First-ever YouTube Creator Bootcamp in Bangladesh empowers local talent

YouTube hosted the first-ever YouTube Creator Bootcamp in Bangladesh, bringing together 70 rising creators for an exclusive training programme designed to empower and elevate the country's thriving creator ecosystem.

The bootcamp, titled YouTube Academy 1.0, gathered top content creators, industry experts, and aspiring YouTubers for an interactive and insightful session aimed at fostering growth and success on the platform, according to a press release.

As per the press release, Bangladesh is home to an incredibly creative and passionate community of content creators. With over 60,000 channels surpassing 10,000 subscribers, YouTube recognises the immense potential in the region and remains committed to investing in the growth and success of Bangladeshi creators.

From the extraordinary Farjana Drawing Academy in arts and crafts to the engaging village games of SS Food Challenge and the dynamic storytelling of Rafsan the ChotoBhai, Bangladeshi creators are making waves on the global stage, it said.

This bootcamp aims to provide them with the knowledge, tools, and networking opportunities necessary to expand their reach and impact.

What to expect at YouTube Academy 1.0

Participants gained valuable insights into channel strategy, content creation, audience engagement, and community building – particularly in high-growth niches such as arts, crafts, gardening, and village vlogs.

According to the press release, about 70 rising creators from across the country took part in the bootcamp, which featured experienced YouTube experts who shared best practices, actionable strategies, and answered creator questions in real-time.

Additionally, creators heard first-hand from some of Bangladesh's leading YouTubers such as Farjana Akter (Farjana Drawing Academy), Liton Ali Khan (Village Grandpa's Cooking), Omar Sunny Somrat (SS Food Challenge), Rafsan (TheChotoBhai) and Nafees Salim as they shared their personal journeys, challenges, and tips for success.

The bootcamp is part of a larger initiative to build a long-term partnership with the creator community in Bangladesh.
