Apple's first online store in India to launch on September 23
Apple has officially announced the launch of its online store in India. Here are all the details
Apple is finally debuting its online store in India, and it is scheduled to launch on September 23. Apple will offer its full range of products along with direct customer support through online team members.
"We're proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities. We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time," said Deirdre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president of Retail + People.
Customer support will be available in both English and Hindi at Apple's online store. The "Apple Specialists" will help customers in finding out about new products, and also custom-configuring Mac devices. Apple will also offer financing options on its products along with a trade-in program. It will also offer student discounts on MacBooks, iPads, accessories and even AppleCare+.

Apple also plans to hold free online "Today at Apple" sessions on photography and music in October. It will also offer signature gift wraps and personalised engraving for select products. Interested consumers can get personalised engraving of either emoji or text in English, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu will be available for AirPods, and in English for iPad and Apple Pencil.
This is the first official "Apple Store" in India as the company has been selling its products through authorised resellers. Apple also plans to launch its first retail store in India by next year.
