Cooling the World: Vision AC's global ambition takes shape
It’s not just about ACs—it’s about comfort, trust, and changing lives. RN Paul, managing director, RFL Group shares how Vision is making modern cooling accessible to the people who need it most

When we first launched Vision AC under the umbrella of RFL Group, our dream was simple yet bold: to make world-class air conditioning technology accessible to Bangladeshi households. Today, I'm proud to say that dream is growing bigger, stretching far beyond our borders into Europe and the Americas.
This isn't just a business journey. For me, it's personal. Vision AC was built with a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability. And now, as we enter the global stage, those values remain our North Star.
Building a better, smarter cooling experience
In today's crowded market, standing out takes more than flashy marketing or trendy buzzwords. At Vision, we chose to focus on substance. Our ACs are equipped with 100% copper tubes for durability, fireproof control boxes for safety, and eco-friendly, chlorine-free refrigerants to protect the environment. It's not just about cooling the air; it's about doing it responsibly and reliably.
Our inverter ACs bring together several advanced features: ultra-low frequency operation, triple noise reduction, fuzzy control systems, and gentle airflow design. These aren't just technical specs—they're innovations that translate into real comfort for families and cost savings on energy bills. With smart Wi-Fi control and 4D air flow, we're giving users control, efficiency, and peace of mind.
But the real differentiator? Our nationwide service network. You can buy a great product, but if something goes wrong and help is far away, that product quickly becomes a burden. We've invested in over 300 trained staff to ensure smooth installations and quick support, making sure the Vision experience doesn't end at purchase—it begins there.
Unlocking the domestic market's hidden potential
It might surprise many to learn that only about 10% of financially capable households in Bangladesh currently own an air conditioner. That leaves 90% of the potential market wide open—and we see this not as a challenge, but as a golden opportunity.
We're focusing on making ACs more affordable through price-sensitive models, flexible financing, and energy-efficient designs that reduce operating costs. Our goal is to help people across the country see ACs not as a luxury, but as a necessity, especially in our ever-warming climate.
Powering growth, one unit at a time
Right now, we're producing 20,000 units per month, but we're just getting started. With an ambitious plan to increase capacity by 25% every year for the next decade, we're positioning ourselves to meet both local and global demand.
And we're not stopping at just households. We're scaling up to serve hotels, hospitals, factories, and offices—bringing efficient, smart climate control to every corner of the economy.
Sustainability isn't just a buzzword for us—it's our compass. From investing in VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems and IoT integration to exploring renewable energy-powered ACs, we're thinking ahead. Our focus is on smart, efficient, app-connected solutions that offer predictive maintenance and real-time energy monitoring—features customers want and the planet needs.
Our R&D wing is growing stronger each year. One of the projects I'm most excited about is developing solar-powered ACs. It's still early days, but I truly believe this will change the game for many off-grid or eco-conscious consumers.
The world is our next market
We've started exporting in a limited capacity, but we're not resting there. Our eyes are firmly set on Europe and America—markets where quality expectations are high and competition is fierce. We're gearing up with new 9K BTU models, advanced T1 and T3 compressors, and a renewed focus on aligning with international standards.
Success here will not only validate our efforts but also showcase Bangladesh's ability to deliver world-class electronics.
Challenges and commitments
Of course, no journey is without hurdles. The biggest? Changing mindsets. Many still see ACs as a luxury or fear high energy bills. We're tackling this with awareness campaigns, showing people the long-term value and affordability of modern, energy-saving units.
Another challenge is the shortage of skilled technicians. But again, we see this as a chance to invest in people. Training programs, certification initiatives, and long-term employee development are already in motion to create a capable workforce ready for the future.
Looking ahead
The next five years are going to be transformative. From expanding our digital presence and improving online shopping experiences, to building Bangladesh's most trusted service infrastructure, we're ready to lead.
At Vision AC, we don't just sell machines. We sell peace of mind, comfort, and the promise of a better tomorrow. Whether it's a family enjoying cool nights in Dhaka, or a business office in Frankfurt benefiting from our efficiency, we're cooling the world, one unit at a time.
