We will allow spectators in stadiums once Covid situation improves: Akram Khan
Akram informed that there is a very good chance of the West Indies series happening.
Akram Khan, chairman of cricket operations of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), has stated that the board has plans to arrange more tournaments involving only the local cricketers in order to up the standard of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
"We have plans to host such tournaments regularly, but it is difficult amid Covid-19. These kinds of tournaments will be vital to up the quality of BPL. A lot depends on this tournament," said Akram.
Akram informed that there is a very good chance of the West Indies series happening.

"They will send a team to observe the situation here on the 28th. They will visit both Dhaka and Chattogram. Then they will report to their board. We had a very positive discussion," he said.
Akram said that the board will allow the spectators only after the situation improves.
"We also want the spectators to watch the games. But now there is nothing to do. This is really very challenging to organise a tournament in such a large scale. The upcoming West Indies series is really important. We will be able to allow the spectators only when the situation improves," Akram Khan mentioned.
