Walton becomes regional sponsor of Argentina football team
Both Walton and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced the signing through press releases on Thursday.

Bangladeshi electronics and technology company Walton Hi-Tech Industries (Walton) has joined hands with the world champion Argentina football team as a sponsor. The company has signed a one-year agreement to become the official regional sponsor of Argentina's national football team in Bangladesh.
Both Walton and the Argentine Football Association (AFA) announced the signing through press releases on Thursday. Walton stated that from now on, fans will see Lionel Messi, Emiliano Martínez and other Argentine stars featured in various branding campaigns for Walton products.
According to Walton's press release, earlier this morning the official Facebook page of the Argentina national football team posted about the sponsorship deal with Walton. The post featured Walton's factory and products alongside Argentine football stars. Previously, AFA's official website had also listed Walton's name and logo among other sponsors.
Walton's Chief Marketing Officer, Jowher Ahmed, said, "There are countless fans of Latin American football in Bangladesh. Through this partnership with the Argentine Football Association, it will be easier to connect with football fans in Bangladesh. Walton will serve as a bridge between Argentina's football team and Bangladeshi supporters."
AFA President Claudio Tapia said, "The Argentina national team feels the support, strength and passion of the people of Bangladesh. We are very pleased to have an iconic company like Walton as AFA's new regional sponsor for Bangladesh."
