Soumya faces visa uncertainty ahead of Afghan series
The matches are scheduled for October 2, 3 and 5 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

Soumya Sarkar, the replacement for injured Litton Das, faced a visa complication that left his participation in the three-match T20 International series against Afghanistan in limbo.
The matches are scheduled for October 2, 3 and 5 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
A BCB official said it may take at least three days to obtain the visa, making Soumya's participation in the first match uncertain — if not the whole series.
Soumya made a comeback to the national T20 squad after December 2024, following a strong performance in the ongoing NCL T20 tournament, where he scored 63 and 45 with a healthy strike rate for Khulna Division.
Litton, the regular skipper of the Bangladesh T20 team, suffered a side strain during the Asia Cup, which forced him to miss the matches against India and Pakistan. He has returned to the country to begin treatment and rehabilitation.
