Sabina khatun-led academy shines on global football stage

In a historic milestone for Bangladeshi youth football, Warrior Sports Academy, founded and operated by national women's football icon Sabina Khatun, has clinched the championship title at the International Football League Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand.
The academy's Under-14 squad displayed exceptional skill and determination, defeating top academies and international schools from Thailand and the Philippines. In the final, Warrior Sports Academy sealed a convincing 3-0 victory against Bangkok Academy, a triumph that marked a proud moment for Bangladesh on the global football stage.
This groundbreaking achievement was made possible through a partnership between Royal Oranje, an international sports management firm, and Warrior Sports Academy. The collaboration facilitated the academy's first international tour, which provided crucial global exposure for young players and highlighted Bangladesh's growing presence in world football. The tour was supported by bTrac Solutions, Kazi Agro, and Biman Bangladesh Airlines as the official airline partner.
Sabina Khatun, currently playing in the Bhutan League, expressed her pride in the victory. "This achievement is just the beginning. Our dream is to nurture Bangladeshi youth and create opportunities for them to shine internationally. Warrior Sports Academy will continue to work tirelessly in developing football at the grassroots and making Bangladesh proud on the world stage."
Adding to its growing recognition, Warrior Sports Academy recently earned "One-Star" accreditation under the Bangladesh Football Federation's Academy Accreditation Scheme, further cementing its reputation as a pioneering institution in youth football development.
With this victory, Warrior Sports Academy and Royal Oranje have reaffirmed their commitment to empowering the next generation of footballers and representing Bangladesh with pride and excellence across international platforms.
