Sophia Havertz is overjoyed as she prepares to welcome her first child. However, the wife of footballer Kai Havertz recently revealed shocking news on Instagram. One individual wished her a miscarriage, while another issued a death threat against her unborn baby, writing: "I will come to your house and kill your baby. I'm not joking, just wait and see."

These disturbing messages were reportedly triggered by Kai's missed penalty during 's elimination in the FA Cup against . In her Instagram story, Sophia addressed the messages, visibly shaken. "That someone thinks it's okay to write such things is so shocking to me. I really hope you are ashamed of yourselves," she wrote, urging: "We can do better."

In the comments under Sophia's latest post, many followers have expressed support and condemned the online abuse, sharing kind words with the soon-to-be mother. Sophia and Kai announced they were expecting their first child last November on Instagram. To share the joyous news, they posted a black-and-white photograph of the footballer embracing his wife from behind, his hand resting tenderly on her baby bump.
