Oshane Thomas concedes 22 runs off a single ball in CPL chaos
It started relatively normally — Thomas conceded four runs from the first two balls. Romario Shepherd played a dot on the first, then struck a boundary off the second.

Three sixes from just one ball? Sounds impossible — but that's exactly what happened to Oshane Thomas in a dramatic Caribbean Premier League (CPL) encounter.
The St Lucia Kings fast bowler had a night to forget as he astonishingly gave away 22 runs from a single legal delivery in the 15th over of the innings against the Guyana Amazon Warriors at the Darren Sammy Stadium. In total, the over cost 33 runs — but it was that one delivery that left fans stunned.
It started relatively normally — Thomas conceded four runs from the first two balls. Romario Shepherd played a dot on the first, then struck a boundary off the second.
Then came the third delivery — seemingly another dot — but replays confirmed it was a no-ball. The chaos began from there.
The first free hit turned out to be a wide. The next two balls? Also no-balls, and both were smashed for sixes by a ruthless Shepherd. The free hit remained in play.
On the next legal delivery — still a free hit — Shepherd sent yet another six flying over the ropes. That meant three sixes from what was essentially one legal delivery — all conceded by a bewildered Oshane Thomas.
The over ended with Pakistan's Iftikhar Ahmed joining the fun, hitting another six off the final ball. Thomas finished the over having conceded 33 runs, with his confidence clearly shaken.
As if that wasn't enough, St Lucia's bowling woes continued in the 17th over when pacer Kieron Gaskin leaked 27 runs, needing 12 deliveries to complete his over. Shepherd continued his carnage, hitting two fours and two sixes in that spell, finishing unbeaten on 73 off just 34 balls.
Remarkably, despite the mayhem created during those two overs — including Oshane Thomas's record-worthy moment — St Lucia Kings still came out on top. After being set a target of 203 by Guyana, the team owned by Bollywood star Preity Zinta chased it down comfortably with 11 balls to spare.
