No one takes part in booters' transfer formalities for BPL on first day

Nobody took part in players transfer formalities for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football 2019-20 on the very first day of the 20-day players' transfer window beginning Tuesday.
  
"The registration window opened today but nobody came for inter-club players transfer," Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Competition Manager Jaber Bin Taher Ansari told UNB.

The clubs can complete players transfer formalities between 12 pm and 5 pm every working day until November 20.

BPL, Bangladesh's most prestigious and professional football league will begin in January. Thirteen clubs will compete this year.

In their first appearance in the highest level of the country's football, Bashundhara Kings emerged champions in the last edition of BPL football, Dhaka Abahani Limited finished second and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra finished third. 

Among others, Saif Sporting Club finished fourth, Arambagh Krira Sangha fifth, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club sixth,  Muktijoddha Sangsad KC seventh, Chattogram Abahani Limited eighth, Dhaka Mohammedan ninth, Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society 10th and Brothers Union 11th.

Team BJMC and NoFeL Sporting Club relegated to the lower division of Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football while Bangladesh Police Football Club and Uttar Baridhara SC promoted to BPL from BCL.
 
According to BPL regulation, each club will be allowed to register five foreign players, including one from Asia.
 
Bashundhara Kings extended the contract with Costa Rica forward Daniel Colindres for one more year and confirmed Lebanese forward Mohamed Jalal Kdouh for the ensuing league.
 
Defending champion Kings reportedly confirmed Topu Barman and Atiqur Rahman Fahad of Dhaka Abahani Limited, Md Rabiul Hasan of Arambagh KS, Yeasin Khan, Bishwanath Ghosh and Biplo Ahamed of Sheikh Russel KC, Monir Hossain of Sheikh Jamal DC and Goalkeeper Hamidur Rahman Remon of Rahmatganj MFS to form a strong team for the upcoming league and as well for the AFC Cup.  

Sheikh Jamal DC confirmed Yusufe Kato and Ballo Famoussa of Muktijoddha SKC and Sheikh Russel confirmed Hemanta Vincent Biswas of Bashudhara Kings and Toklis Ahmed of Dhaka Mohammedan. 

Runners-up Dhaka Abahani Ltd will recruit Sohel Rana and Fazle Rabbi of Sheikh Russel KC and Nasir Uddin Chowdhury of Bashundhara Kings for the upcoming season of BPL while Saif SC extended the contract of their captain Jamal Bhuiyan for another year. 

Three clubs – Dhaka Mohammedan, Arambagh KS and Muktijoddha SKC – are still uncertain to participate in the booters transfer window due to their Casino scandal.
