Fakirerpool cleared to form squad after FIFA ban lifted
The complaint that led to the ban was filed by Uzbek footballer Sardor Jakanov.

Fakirerpool Youngmen's Club faced a major setback ahead of the new Bangladesh Premier League season when FIFA imposed a transfer ban on them. However, just eight days before the transfer window closes, the club has successfully had the ban lifted.
"We have no more obstacles in forming our team," said Fakirerpool's general secretary, Ahmed Ali.
The complaint that led to the ban was filed by Uzbek footballer Sardor Jakanov. Last season, Jakanov scored three goals and provided two assists in nine matches, but he disappeared after the first phase of the league. He was reportedly owed between 2 to 2.5 million BDT in unpaid wages.
Fakirerpool finished eighth on the table last season, collecting 19 points from 18 matches. With the transfer ban in place, the Bangladesh Football Federation had kept Dhaka Wanderers on standby as a potential replacement. Wanderers were fully prepared to play in the Premier League if needed.
However, Fakirerpool are now optimistic about completing their squad in time, with the transfer window set to close on 14 August.
