Mashrafe wrote in his Facebook post, "Khan Abdur Razzak (Raj), my friend, I am a little late to wish you luck. Maybe a lot of people like me are happy with your achievement. But the thing I am looking forward to is that you have got an opportunity to show how deeply you understand cricket. I know you will give your best and be successful InshaAllah."

"Everyone has watched the magic of his left arm for so long. Now they will see the magic of your brain. I have spoken to you in many crises and from experience I am saying that you will be the winner. I thank the cricket board for showing due respect to the man. My love is endless for you GOAT," Mashrafe added.

Razzak has played 13 Tests, 153 ODIs and 34 T20Is for Bangladesh. He has taken 206 wickets in ODIs which is the third highest among Bangladeshi bowlers.

In domestic cricket, Razzak's bowling record is stunning. He is the only bowler in Bangladesh to take more than 600 wickets in first-class cricket. The left-arm spinner has taken 634 wickets in 128 first-class matches. Razzak's bowling record is also astounding in List 'A' cricket. He has taken 412 wickets in 260 matches. He is the second highest wicket-taker among Bangladeshis in List 'A' cricket too. His friend Mashrafe tops the list with 421 wickets.
