Late Hardik blitz takes India to 168 against England

Late Hardik Pandya blitz has taken India to a decent 168/6 after 20 overs in the semi-final against England in Adelaide. 

India bagged 68 off the last five overs which means they added 106 off the last ten overs. The momentum has slightly shifted in India's favour after a slow start. 

The par score here batting first is 168 and India have got exactly that.

England bowled brilliantly for most part, keeping India down to 100 off the first 15 overs, but the last five overs have cost them 68 runs. Sixty eight.

It's a score India will think they can defend, but it's also a total England will back themselves to chase down with the depth of batting they have.

Rahul once again succumbed early in a big match leaving Rohit and Kohli to do the repair work, the pair ticked over without making England sweat. But a couple of wickets in the middle overs including that of Suryakumar tilted the game England's way.

Hardik then joined Kohli and he took his time to get going, but once he got the hang of the pitch and conditions, he played a blinder to give India a total close to 170. The ball did grip for the spinners but India don't have a wrist spinner. He was is out hit-wicket in the final ball of the innings after bagging 63 off 33 balls.
