Jaker keeps Bangladesh alive
Jaker Ali was the standout performer with a resilient 55 off 48 balls, including 5 sixes and a four.

Bangladesh posted a total of 133 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in their allotted 20 overs after being asked to bat first by Pakistan. The innings got off to a poor start with Mohammad Naim falling early for just 3 runs. Parvez Hossain Emon and Litton Das tried to rebuild but were dismissed for 13 and 8 respectively, leaving Bangladesh struggling at 25 for 3. A mini-collapse followed with Towhid Hridoy getting run out for a duck and Mahedi Hasan falling for 33 after a promising knock that included 2 fours and 2 sixes at a striking rate of 132.00.
Jaker Ali was the standout performer with a resilient 55 off 48 balls, including 5 sixes and a four. His innings held the middle and lower order together. However, he received little support from the tail. Rishad Hossain scored a quick 8, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib chipped in with a six before falling for 7. The rest of the batting order couldn't offer much resistance, with Shamim Hossain, Shoriful Islam, and Mustafizur Rahman contributing just 5 runs combined.
Pakistan's bowling was clinical and disciplined. Salman Mirza was the most successful bowler, claiming two wickets for 17 runs in his 4 overs. Ahmed Daniyal also impressed, conceding just 23 runs in his 4-over spell and picking up two wicket. Notably, there were two run-outs, including a brilliant effort that saw both Towhid Hridoy and Shoriful Islam dismissed.
Overall, Bangladesh managed a modest total of 133, thanks largely to Jaker Ali's fifty, but will need a strong bowling performance to defend it against Pakistan
