Former Australia spinner Macgill found guilty of cocaine supply charge
Although MacGill was not directly involved in the transaction, a jury found him guilty of knowingly taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug, national broadcaster ABC reported.

Former Australian Test cricketer Stuart MacGill was found guilty on Thursday of taking part in the supply of cocaine, according to local media reports.
Police alleged that the retired leg-spinner introduced his personal cocaine dealer to an associate in 2021. The two then arranged a drug deal worth US$200,000 between themselves.
Although MacGill was not directly involved in the transaction, a jury found him guilty of knowingly taking part in the supply of a prohibited drug, national broadcaster ABC reported. However, he was acquitted of a more serious charge relating to commercial-scale drug supply.
The 54-year-old played 44 Tests for Australia between 1998 and 2008. His career largely overlapped with that of Shane Warne, regarded as one of the greatest spin bowlers in cricket history.
