It's down to these two - England and New Zealand. Either one of them will win the trophy and the world will get a new World Champion, the first time since 1996 when Sri Lanka triumphed over Australia.

New Zealand have won the toss and elected to bat first.

England were tipped as the favorites before the World Cup and them reaching the final is not a surprise. But nobody could have guessed that Kane Williamson's team would be here. But here they are, in the final of the grandest stage of cricket, playing at the Mecca of cricket and fighting for the holy grail.

New Zealand have been highly reliant on Kane Williamson and their bowling attack, whereas England have shown more prowess all-round. But both the teams are better when they bat first as England looks to score big batting first and New Zealand are better off defending totals.

New Zealand Team -  1. Martin Guptill, 2. Henry Nicholls, 3. kane Williamson (c), 4. Ross Taylor, 5. Tom Latham (wk), 6. Jimmy Neesham, 7. Colin de Grandhomme, 8. Mitchell Santner, 9. Trent Boult, 10. Matt Henry, 11. Lockie Ferguson

England Team - 1. Jason Roy, 2. Jonny Bairstow, 3. Joe Root, 4. Eoin Morgan (c), 5. Ben Stokes, 6. Jos Butler (wk), 7. Chris Woakes, 8. Liam Plunkett, 9. Adil Rashid, 10. Mark Wood, 11. Jofra Archer
