Eight Pakistan cricketers fined for misconduct during England and Australia series
All-rounder Aamir Jamal received the heaviest penalty, approximately Rs1.3 million, for wearing a cap with a political slogan during an interview in the first Test against England.

Eight Pakistan cricketers have been fined a total of Rs3 million for breaching the code of conduct during the home Test series against England in October 2024 and the tour of Australia the following month.
All-rounder Aamir Jamal received the heaviest penalty, approximately Rs1.3 million, for wearing a cap with a political slogan during an interview in the first Test against England. The cap featured '804,' the prisoner identification number of former Prime Minister and legendary cricketer Imran Khan, who is currently held in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi.

Three players were fined Rs500,000 each for arriving late at the team hotel during Pakistan's white-ball tour of Australia in November. Meanwhile, Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub, Abdullah Shafique, and Abbas Afridi were penalised for violating curfew regulations during the team's white-ball series in South Africa.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stated that these disciplinary measures remain an internal matter to safeguard the players' reputations.
The fines come amid growing scrutiny of Pakistan's performances following their early exit from the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025. As defending champions, they failed to win a single match, losing to New Zealand and India before their final group-stage fixture against Bangladesh was washed out.
