Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has no concerns over Lamine Yamal observing Ramadan as his team prepares for their Nations League quarter-final against the Netherlands.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's first-leg tie in Rotterdam, De la Fuente said Yamal's fasting has not affected preparations.
"It's been completely normal for us. He is following his precepts and rules, just as he does at his club (Barcelona)," De la Fuente said.
Spain's medical team and nutritionists have provided the 17-year-old forward with guidelines on eating and drinking to ensure he remains in peak condition.
"We always have the utmost respect for all beliefs. He is in perfect condition to play," De la Fuente added.
