Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly tweeted congratulating Bangladesh and thanked both India and Bangladesh cricket teams for playing despite high levels of pollution in the national capital.

Thank u to both the teams to play this game @ImRo45 @BCBtigers under tuff conditions .. well done bangladesh ..

Quoting Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir, The Times of India posted, "Bangladesh is already on the back foot without Sakib-al-Hasan but lauded the visitors for not making the pollution in Delhi a major talking point."

Let us see. I'd also like to congratulate Bangladesh for not making too much fuss about the pollution in the Capital. These are not ideal conditions to venture outdoors forget about playing competitive sport. So well done Tigers," Gambhir tweeted.

Rahim took full advantage of the dropped catch as he smashed Khaleel Ahmed for 18 runs in the penultimate over to give Bangladesh a historic victory, reports Hindustan Times.

Rohit Sharma admitted during post-match presentation ceremony, "It was a defendable score, and we made mistakes on the field. The guys are a bit inexperienced, and they can learn from that."
