BCB announce packed home international schedule for 2026 including India's visit
One of the highlights of the season will be India’s visit in late August and September. India will play three ODIs on 1, 3 and 6 September, followed by three T20Is on 9, 12 and 13 September.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Friday announced a comprehensive home international calendar for the 2026 season, featuring bilateral series against five Full Member nations across all three formats.
Bangladesh are set to host Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia, India and the West Indies in what promises to be a busy and high-profile year of international cricket. The schedule also includes a tour by Sri Lanka A, ensuring competitive red-ball and limited-overs action at various levels.
The home season will begin in March with Pakistan touring Bangladesh for a three-match One Day International series. Pakistan are scheduled to arrive on 9 March, with the ODIs to be played on 12, 14 and 16 March before their departure a day later.
New Zealand will follow in April for a white-ball tour comprising three ODIs and three T20 Internationals. The ODI series will be held on 17, 20 and 23 April, while the T20I matches are scheduled for 27 and 29 April and 2 May.
Pakistan will return in May for a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship. The visitors are due to arrive on 4 May, with the Tests scheduled from 8–12 May and 16–20 May.
Australia's tour of Bangladesh in June will include three ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI fixtures will take place on 5, 8 and 11 June, followed by the T20I series on 15, 18 and 20 June.

The home calendar will conclude with the West Indies touring Bangladesh in October and November for another ICC World Test Championship series. The Caribbean side will arrive on 18 October and play a three-day warm-up match from 22 to 24 October. The two Tests are scheduled for 28 October–1 November and 5–9 November.
In addition, the Sri Lanka A team will tour Bangladesh in May 2026 for a series against Bangladesh A, consisting of two four-day matches and three one-day games.
The BCB said details of match venues will be announced in due course. The board noted that the schedule ensures a season full of international cricket at home, offering supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket in Bangladesh throughout the year.
