Bayern's Musiala to miss Inter Milan first leg with hamstring injury
Musiala was forced off the pitch during Bayern's 3-1 victory over Augsburg on Friday, after pulling up while attempting to control a high pass.

Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala will miss the upcoming Champions League quarter-final first leg against Inter Milan next Tuesday due to a hamstring injury, confirmed sporting director Max Eberl on Friday, 5 April 2025.
Musiala was forced off the pitch during Bayern's 3-1 victory over Augsburg on Friday, after pulling up while attempting to control a high pass. The 22-year-old midfielder immediately signalled to the bench and was helped off the field, with Bayern veteran Thomas Müller replacing him.
"It doesn't look so brilliant," Eberl said, confirming that Musiala will not be available for Bayern's clash with Inter Milan on 8 April 2025.
This injury is a significant setback for Bayern, as Musiala has become an increasingly vital player in the team's midfield. The club is already dealing with a number of other injuries, with defenders Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, and Hiroki Ito expected to miss the remainder of the season. Additionally, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, winger Kingsley Coman, and midfielder Aleksander Pavlovic are also sidelined.
Despite these injuries, Bayern extended their lead at the top of the Bundesliga to nine points over defending champions Bayer Leverkusen with their recent win.
The Champions League quarter-final first leg will take place at Bayern's Allianz Arena on 8 April 2025, with the return leg scheduled for the following Wednesday in Milan. This season's Champions League final will also be held at Bayern's home stadium.
