Bangladesh’s Sri Lanka tour fixtures announced for June-July 2025

The two-Test series will take place in Galle and Colombo in June. Following the Tests, the teams will play three ODIs on 2nd, 5th, and 8th July. The first two ODIs will be held in Colombo, while the final ODI will take place at Pallekele.

Bangladesh’s Sri Lanka tour fixtures announced for June-July 2025

Bangladesh will tour Sri Lanka for a multi-format series featuring two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is between June and July 2025. This tour will mark the start of the new World Test Championship cycle for both teams.

The two-Test series will take place in Galle and Colombo in June. Following the Tests, the teams will play three ODIs on 2nd, 5th, and 8th July. The first two ODIs will be held in Colombo, while the final ODI will take place at Pallekele.

The series will conclude with three T20Is, scheduled for 10th, 13th, and 16th July, to be played at Pallekele, Dambulla, and Colombo.

The last time Bangladesh toured Sri Lanka, they lost the Test series 1-0, with the first Test ending in a draw, and Sri Lanka securing a dominant 209-run win in the second Test.

Before heading to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh will have T20I engagements in Asia, with a two-match T20I series in the UAE and a five-match T20I series in Pakistan.

Bangladesh's most recent series saw them draw the Test series 1-1 against Zimbabwe at home, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz starring, taking three five-wicket hauls across two Test matches.

25-29 June: 2nd Test, Colombo

ODIs
2 July: 1st ODI, Colombo
5 July: 2nd ODI, Colombo
8 July: 3rd ODI, Pallekele

T20Is

13 July: 2nd T20I, Dambulla
