Bangladesh U-19s to tour South Africa and Zimbabwe in preparation for 2026 World Cup
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, the Young Tigers will play a warm-up fixture against a South Africa U-19 XI in Pretoria.

The Bangladesh Under-19 men's cricket team is set to depart for South Africa on 11 July as part of their build-up to the ICC U-19 World Cup, scheduled to be held next year in Zimbabwe and Namibia.
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, the Young Tigers will play a warm-up fixture against a South Africa U-19 XI in Pretoria. They will then face the hosts in a three-match Youth ODI series in Benoni, scheduled for 17, 19 and 22 July.
Following the South Africa series, both teams will travel to Zimbabwe – one of the co-hosts of the 2026 U-19 World Cup – to participate in a tri-nation tournament that also includes the home side.
"All teams will play each other three times during the tournament. The top two teams will progress to the final. The itinerary has already been finalised. We'll announce the squad and schedule shortly," said AEM Kawser, the BCB's game development manager, speaking to The Daily Star on Thursday.
The Bangladesh U-19 squad is currently training in Sylhet under the supervision of head coach Naveed Nawaz ahead of the upcoming tour.
