Bangladesh reeling after Tanzid and Mushfiq fall to Axar
Bangladesh struggling at 49 for 5, with Hridoy and Zaker Ali now tasked with salvaging the innings.

Bangladesh's innings faltered early as India's bowlers made significant inroads, with Axar Patel's two-wicket burst leaving them reeling.
Chasing stability after losing early wickets, Bangladesh found some hope through Tanzid Hasan, who looked fluent despite wickets falling around him.
He struck a couple of elegant boundaries off Mohammed Shami in the third over, driving through cover and extra cover with authority. However, the flow of runs was soon disrupted.
Soumya Sarkar was the first to depart, edging Shami's final delivery of the opening over to KL Rahul behind the stumps after struggling to get off the mark.
Najmul Hossain Shanto followed soon after, falling for a duck in the second over. Attempting a drive off Harshit Rana, the Bangladesh captain found Virat Kohli at short cover.
Tanzid, undeterred by the early collapse, continued to play positively, lofting Shami over mid-on for a boundary and working the gaps effectively. He seemed to have carried his impressive BPL form into Dubai. Mehidy Hasan Miraz, promoted to number four, also found the boundary with a crisp cover drive.
However, the partnership didn't last long. Shami removed Miraz in the seventh over, inducing an edge that flew to Shubman Gill in the slips. Towhid Hridoy joined Tanzid, and the pair attempted to rebuild. Tanzid, in particular, looked set for a significant innings, driving confidently and surviving a run-out scare when a direct hit narrowly missed the stumps.
The real setback came when Rohit Sharma introduced spin in the ninth over.
Axar Patel struck twice in quick succession, first removing Tanzid for 25 as he edged to Rahul while trying to cut. On the very next delivery, Mushfiqur Rahim fell for a duck, pushing forward and edging to the wicketkeeper.
Axar's double strike left Bangladesh struggling at 49 for 5, with Hridoy and Zaker Ali now tasked with salvaging the innings.
