A full-toss from Marcus Stoinis brought the downfall of Towhid Hridoy who bagged his maiden World Cup fifty.
Hridoy walked down the pitch and then swung hard, but he got a tad too close to the ball and couldn't get the elevation needed on the lofted shovel, high and down deep midwicket's throat, Labuschagne with a reverse cupped catch.

Najmul Hossain Shanto, who returned to form in the previous match, got a partnership going with Towhid Hridoy. He neutralised Australia's short-ball ploy in his 57-ball stay before getting run out in attempt to steal a brace. He made 45.
Mahmudullah joined the party and he struck three sixes as well.
Hridoy is batting on 41.

Bangladesh had a superb powerplay as Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan played some eye-catching shots and made use of the field restrictions in the first 10 overs. They were 62-0 for no loss after 10, which was their second-best powerplay score in the tournament.
Tanzid hit six fours in his 34-ball-36 before getting out to yet another short delivery in the 12th over. Sean Abbott accounted for his wicket. Najmul Hossain Shanto has joined Litton in the middle.

Bangladesh have been asked to bat first against Australia in their final World Cup group-stage match in Pune.
Both teams have made a couple of changes to their playing XI. Nasum Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, and Mustafizur Rahman are playing in place of Shakib Al Hasan, Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan for Bangladesh while Australia have rested Mitchell Starc and Glenn Maxwell. Steve Smith and Sean Abbott come in their place.
Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto said they will be looking for a win despite knowing the equation to make it in the Champions Trophy 2025.
