Al Nassr eliminated, Ronaldo remains trophyless after playing in 13 tournaments
Ronaldo made his debut for Al Nassr in January 2023. That year, the club won the Arab Club Champions Cup, though it is not recognised as an official FIFA tournament. Since joining, the Portuguese legend has played in 13 official competitions for Al Nassr but has yet to win a single trophy.
Al Nassr were knocked out of the Saudi King's Cup last night after losing 2–1 to Al Ittihad in the round of 16. The match, held at Al Awwal Park, saw Karim Benzema open the scoring for Ittihad. On a night when his former Real Madrid teammate found the net, Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score.
It was not a good outing for Sadio Mane or Joao Felix either. Al Ittihad were reduced to ten men in the 49th minute when Ahmed Al-Zulaydan was shown a red card, but Ronaldo and Félix failed to capitalise on the advantage. Ronaldo managed five shots, only one of which was on target. Al Nassr's lone goal came from Angelo Gabriel, while Benzema and Houssem Aouar scored for Ittihad.

Since joining, the Portuguese legend has played in 13 official competitions for Al Nassr but has yet to win a single trophy. The club has reached three finals during his time — losing all of them. Al Nassr finished runners-up in the Saudi Pro League in both the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons, and third last season.
This season, however, they currently sit at the top of the table with 18 points from six matches. In the AFC Champions League 2 last season, reaching the semi-finals remains Ronaldo's best achievement in the competition with Al Nassr. Despite the lack of silverware, his individual performances have been impressive — across four seasons, he has scored 106 goals in 120 appearances for the Saudi club.
