Sabrina’s Man’s Best Friend goes no 1

Sabrina Carpenter has solidified her status as one of pop's biggest stars with the release of her latest album 'Man's Best Friend'. The record debuts at No 1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week, earning 366,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Luminate. That marks her strongest sales week to date and the third-largest of 2025, behind only Morgan Wallen and The Weeknd.
This is Carpenter's second consecutive chart-topping album, following Short n' Sweet in September 2024, which opened with 362,000 units. Notably, vinyl played a major role in her success: Man's Best Friend moved 160,000 vinyl copies in its first week, boosted by 13 different editions, two of them signed. It ranks among the top 10 biggest vinyl sales weeks since 1991.
Adding to her achievements, Carpenter now joins Taylor Swift, SZA and Olivia Rodrigo as the only women to place at least 12 songs in the Hot 100's top 40 at once.
