Rustoff vocalist Ahrar Masud Diep passes away

Ahrar Masud Diep, the vocalist of rock band Rustoff and member of other bands Calypso and Eclipse, passed away on 15 September, leaving fans and fellow musicians in shock and mourning. He was laid to rest at Shaheen Graveyard, Bangladesh Air Force Base, Bashar, following his janaza prayers.

Confirming the news, Rustoff shared a statement on their official Facebook page: "It is impossible to conjure up the right words – or any words at all – at such a tragic and shocking moment. We are beyond heartbroken and in a state of disbelief at the news of our beloved vocalist, friend, and brother – Ahrar Masud Diep – who passed away last night."

They added: "Our hearts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones. Rest in peace, Diep. You will be forever missed."

Fans and the music community continue to express their grief, remembering Diep's talent and the person he was beyond the stage.
