Peaky Blinders creator to write James Bond movies
Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed that Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight will pen the next James Bond movie, joining forces with Dune director Denis Villeneuve. This marks a major move for the studio, which gained creative control of the 007 franchise in February and is eager to revive one of Hollywood's most iconic properties. The last Bond outing, No Time To Die, was released in 2021.
Knight, known for his dark and stylish storytelling, made global waves with the British gangster epic Peaky Blinders, which launched Cillian Murphy and others into international stardom. He also co-created Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and has written for hit series like Taboo and See.
No release date, title, or casting details have been confirmed, though fan speculation over Daniel Craig's successor remains feverish. Top contenders include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Tom Holland, and Kingsley Ben-Adir — but for now, MI6 is keeping its lips sealed.
