One Direction’s Liam Payne hospitalised, postpones tour
Former 'One Direction' member, Liam Payne has been hospitalised with a serious kidney infection. He had to postpone his South American tour as a result of his illness.
The singer took to Instagram saying, "It's with a heavy heart I have to tell you that we have no other choice but to postpone my upcoming tour of South America," Payne wrote in the caption. "Over the past week I've been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it's something I wouldn't wish on anyone, and doctors order that I now need to rest and recover."
Previously Payne made a video message for his fans where he said that he was feeling unwell. But he still carried on with rehearsals for his tour in Lima, Peru on September 1.

Payne also said that, "I've just been advised that now is really not the time to be out on the road trying to recover from this" while expressing optimism for an even bigger show.
