The video ended with a date— 28 February. While she didn't confirm whether it's a song or an album, she assured fans, "I took my time and did it right. The new era begins today."
Speculation had already begun when Lizzo bid farewell to her 2022 album Special, reflecting on its impact. She later sealed the goodbye by spray-painting "Bye B—-" over the album cover. Now, with fresh music on the way, fans are ready to gag throats—just as Lizzo promised.
