Jon Bernthal is set to reprise his role as Frank Castle, aka the Punisher, in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, filming begins this summer in England. This marks Bernthal's big-screen debut as the Punisher, following his appearances in 'Daredevil' and his own solo series on Netflix and Disney+.

He joins returning stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon, with 'Stranger Things' star Sadie Sink joining the cast in a mysterious role.

Liza Colón-Zayas has also been cast, sparking rumours about a possible Miles Morales connection. The film is slated to hit theatres on 31 July, 2026—now ahead of the delayed 'Avengers: Doomsday'.
